1. Each blogger must post these rules first.
2. Each blogger starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. Bloggers that are tagged need to write on their own blog about their eight things and post these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’ve tagged, and to read your blog.
About Me.
1) I try my best not to answer calls or texts when I'm driving. I don't know why but I just hate it. So if you call and I don't answer there's only two possibilities: I'm driving or sleeping.
2) I AM lazy! But I don’t know why people don’t believe me when I say that! Between sleeping and studying, you can guess which one I choose EVERY TIME. But when I am doing what I love to do, I am motivated to do my best.
3) I left lip-gloss marks on my test papers. Seriously, I do. Want to see it? Come to my room and I can show you. I just love to sleep on my test papers.
4) I drive my car when I’m pissed. I don’t know why I do so but I think it’s a KL driver syndrome thingy.
5) I have a nine year old cat that drools excessively but I still love her... :)
6) My friends say I am a true practitioner of emotion displacement. It means that when I am missing one person I would go all ‘gedik’ with my friends as they are the replacement to the person I am actually missing…
7) I curl my toes even when I’m at rest. Only one of my best friends ever realizes that. Try checking it out when I’m not paying attention.
8) I always say I am afraid of horror movies but when I watch them I either yawn of boredom or laugh as none of them are ever up to my expectations.

Kabut-ness!
This week I was called ‘kabut’ a few times by my fellow friends and family members during different occasions. It kind of made me want to laugh :) Actually, it did make me laugh when Zaida said so in the car. Not because it’s funny or the sarcasm laugh of ignorance, but the laugh of, “Hell I miss this Syaza!” :D
Remember that I once wrote I’m more…‘cool, calm, and collected’ now compared to before? Well, I’m not really sure what happened to me, but like what Diana went through, it’s either I’ve changed or I’ve just gone back to how I was before. :) Yeah, the old me is really kabut. No, I don't cry or shout as much as I used to (thank God I’m not turning back into that!), but I’m more…relaxed to just be myself. Yes, I AM kabut. It’s because I like to do a lot of stuffs at a time and I simply can’t sit still! I just have to move! So yeah, this is good, this is all good. Me running around the house, up and down the stairs, is the real me. The one you saw before, the one that’s always composed…that’s a lie. I wasn’t being true to myself. No wonder I wasn’t so happy before.
I was talking to him the other day and he made me realize that we’re different especially in this sense. I’m very loud and he’s charmingly quiet. But you know what I also realized? I realized that I’ve always needed that kind of people in my life. In every phase of my life, I need that one person to bring me down to earth every time I started to go overboard. People like Fayyadhah and Shila are always there to tell me, “Syaz, that's enough.” Therefore, I’m glad that he’s also like the rest of my best friends. He is my best friend. If he is as ‘expressive’ as I am I think I might just get my tongue pierce tomorrow. So people, be thankful he’s not.

Of Why I Go Home Every Week.
Some people say I am manja. Some still questioned my decision to further my studies abroad. People say I cannot stand being away from my family because they see me going home every week. They say I still live ‘under my parents’ armpits.’ People say a whole bunch of things about me because they don’t know what I’ve been through and seen in my life.
Basically yes, I’ve been living with my parents for the past nineteen years of my life. Yes, I’ve never been to a boarding school and it was one-hundred-percent my decision. Yes, INTI is my first experience of being ‘away’ form my parents (which is not really ‘away’ since it’s still 40 minutes from KL) And if it’s up to me, I really want my parents to move to Nilai a.s.a.p. so that I can go back every day. Do you want to know why I’m so obsessed with my parents? I’ll tell you why.
This is the story of my best friend, Shila, or previously known as Asilah.
Asilah and I have been friends since we were thirteen. We’ve been close friends since we were fourteen. Music brought us together and also a whole lot of other things (i.e. fashion and world issues.) But then, an unfortunate event occurred when we were fifteen that made me very overprotective of her until today. PMR examinations were to fall on a Monday and on the Thursday (or Friday night for us Muslims) before it I got a phone call from our other best friend, Adilah, around 3am. I can hear Shila sobbing in the background as Adilah simply said, “Mak Asilah meninggal dunia (Asilah’s mother passed away.)” Even till today I still haven’t been able to forgive myself for not going straight to her house that night. I was young then and also speechless. I just saw her mother a few days earlier and she was looking good. Now fast forward two years later. Our last SPM paper, Biology, was on Monday and on the Thursday (or Friday night for us Muslims) afterward I got a phone call again from Adilah around 1am. This time there’s no sound of Asilah sobbing but unfortunately it was the same news I was praying NOT to get. Adilah simply said, “Ayah Asilah meninggal dunia (Asilah’s father passed away.)” And to think that her father was supposed to pick me up in a few hours for we were supposed to go to Port Dickson in the morning. This time I was older and I knew better. I quickly changed and went to Asilah’s house.
The point I’m trying to make is, just like her parents, God can simply take mine away from me. Until today Asilah is very grateful that she declined offers after offers for her to study in a boarding school. After her mother’s death she became very close to her dad (like me, Asilah only has one older brother which is ten years older than her.) And she’s very grateful that she was able to spend as much time as she possibly can with her father. Somehow, I can’t help but to always put myself in her shoes. I can’t bear even the thought of my parents being taken away from me. But this is life; I know I can't run from the inevitable. But as far as I’m concerned, whatever time we still have, I’m not going to waste it away ‘melangut’ in INTI when I can go home and kiss my parents’ hands instead. Of course some would say nobody would want to go to a boarding school then. Actually I have various other reasons why I chose not to (and I think I’ve stated that one too many times already). I have nothing against those who went to boarding schools or stay in INTI during the weekends. And I understand if your hometown is hours away. But as for me, personally, time with my parents is a gift from God. Why do you want to waste such precious gift from the Almighty? I know I won’t. For the past nineteen years of my life, the gift of always ‘being under my parents’ armpits’ is the best gift ever I could wish for.

My CNY Holiday!
Oh.My.Lord. Can my life be any more hectic? It was kind of like before, when I thought I’m going to spend my days at home studying, I ended going out every.single.day. I’ve been going out non-stop since Monday until today, Thursday. But hey, I’m not really complaining. I miss my babes!!! I’m so glad we decided to do all that we did :) I miss you girls so much! To those who don’t believe me when I say you need to make an appointment to go out with me, this is proof. No, I’m kidding. But seriously, my friends already ‘reserved’ me since a few weeks earlier, so yeah, all my outings this week were not really spontaneous or whatever. But I just love it going to KMNS with Shila to visit Adilah, going to NZ just to hang out with Iqa and them till late at night and I ESPECIALLY love going out with Fayyadhah and Zaida. They are my two best friends since…was it forever girls? I had a blast, seriously. No shopping (with the exception of my new purse) but just…l a u g h i n g :) I miss our we-have-no-care-in-the-world laugh. Reminiscing is not the right word. We actually did go back to where we left :) And now, Chesza's leaving cyber world for a while to focus on my Fundamentals of Physics textbook. Later!

Oh, and also a HAPPY NINETEENTH BIRTHDAY TO MY ROCKING ROOMMATE! You’re already nineteen Pia and I wish you longevity and a healthy life and also may God grant you all of your heart's desires :) You are simply amazing, do you know that? I don’t think I’ve said this to you but you actually taught me a lot. I hope it won’t stop anytime soon :)
